Unfortunately, like most victoria secrets’ supermodels you see on tv, you pretty much won’t be able to get this phone to work for you. Tis a sad day to see this one not in my hands. Argh.

Well at least I’m still getting the HTC TyTN, yeah that’s the way it’s spelt. Now if only I can find a way to ditch my current phone.

The lady at the counter gave me such an incredulous look as though I was going to eat the black portion off or something. Anyway she said it will NEVER wear off. So I asked what it was coated with, that makes it so unique. ( Several other cheapo ring shops told me the same thing, but of course, never is an overstatement when dealing with extremities such as me )

Black Titanium, she answered. I gave my usual “Hymph I see” look. But of course, deep down inside I was “WOAH BLACK TITANIUM! Can it BE any cooler!?” It’s only SGD535, that’s like roughly equivalent to less than 300 lines of code. Note that at this point, I was already calculating how much time it would cost for me to earn back this amount of money.

Well words are worth nothing, if you don’t have pictures to back it up, so here they are, and knock your eyeballs out!

Needless to say, I wasn’t prepared to part with $535 bucks that day, but of course, I will go back one day to take that ring. I think I’m either size 5 or 6 btw : x

SuperCard has various flavors, ( CF/SD/MiniSD ), and acts as a flashable cartridge. So it actually looks something like this. The MiniSD version is the same size as a gba, thus you can actually flush it with the base, unlike the older versions. That is a photo of it inserted into an NDS Lite btw.

And it should work out of the box to play gba stuff. As for the NDS roms, I’m not really sure. But roughly from what I read, I’ld assume that you need the SuperCard inserted, with the SuperPass with an original game sticking out of the SuperPass. Then through some form of starting and reseting the NDS, you should be able to boot pass the encryption using the original game, and load the NDS roms from the SuperCard itself.

It might be worth noting that the SuperCard (SD type) + SuperPass 2 costs around USD54. Without the SD card of course. SD cards are dirt cheap if I’m not wrong, I’ve heard it costs less than SGD50 for a 1GB SD card.

With the exchange rates of 1.59 now, the whole set should cost less than 3 expensive NDS games.

It would seem that my news is old news : D You can load roms directly from the cartridge, you need to your nds firmware once with the SuperPass 2! : D

Supposingly it makes you type better or something. But anyway it’s a geek product from japan and I love it! I want!
